| The EMI lifted 1 cent this week to 874 cents. The Southern market was quoted up 5 cents to 845. 21 to 23 micron ranges, and 18 micron and finer categories were quoted 4 to 17 cents firmer, while all other microns were softer. The Northern market was recorded 2 cents cheaper, with 23 and 23 microns recording gains, along with Merino Cardings. Passed in rates were 5.4% in the North, 7.8% in the South and 12.5% in the West. |
